Until relatively recently a niche “out there” thing, breathwork has quickly gained popularity over the last decade, and for a good reason. Known to indigenous cultures for thousands of years and mentioned in the records from the ancient cultures from all around the world, it is now beginning to be better understood by the modern science and slowly seeping into the mainstream.
Breath is life. When we breathe in certain ways, we can allow the unconscious material and unresolved, suppressed or “stuck” energy (particularly related to trauma) to bubble into our awareness and into our bodies. When we know how to approach this and our nervous system has enough capacity to deal with it, this material and energy can be “processed”, “reprogrammed” and resolved, allowing us to get on with our lives.
And it doesn’t have to be all about trauma processing. Breath has its own intelligence and can guide us into the deeper levels of joy, creativity, insight, connection with our purpose and people around us. Learning to understand and interact with your breath has been shown to have tremendous positive impact on the quality of life.
These sessions are designed for breathwork beginners, people with currently dysregulated nervous system, or those who would like to have a safe re-introduction to breathwork after a challenging prior experience(s). We provide more education, use lighter music and gentler supportive bodywork facilitations, and focus on developing and strengthening the nervous system capacity and safety resourcing. Capped at 15 people per session. $79 per session, discounted packages available.
These sessions are designed to go all-in and are better suited for experienced breathers and people with good nervous system capacity and safety resourcing. We use juicier music (sometimes including live instruments), more hands-on bodywork facilitations, breathe for longer and more actively guide people into and through the deeper end. We focus less on education, and generally keep it shorter and focused on more advanced topics. Capped at 10 people per session. $79 per session, discounted packages available.
We practice a variation of conscious connected breathing, mixed with the elements of Embodied Processing and informed by the latest neuroscience. We are guided by the following key principles:
Safety. We meet people where they are at, gently guiding them out of their comfort zones and supporting them through the process, but not pushing them beyond their limits. We focus on integration and safety resourcing, take utmost care to avoid retraumatising people and provide guidance and support between the sessions when required. We are committed to holding safe and inclusive space, where the whole of you is welcome. We limit the maximum number of participants and aim to provide a minimum of 1 to 5 facilitator/support to breather ratio.
Integrity. We are committed to the highest level of service, professionalism and ethics in everything we do. We practice what we “preach”, seek to embody our teachings and constantly uplift our knowledge and skills, and take people only as far as we’ve gone ourselves. We do not provide medical advice or guarantees of alleviation of any physical, mental or emotional symptoms.
Agency. We believe no-one is “broken” and needs to be “fixed”, and that healing always comes from within. We believe in the wisdom of people’s body, mind and spirit, as well as their wounding. We provide education and guidance for people so they can develop and deepen understanding, capacity and agency to guide their own healing process.
Just about anyone (subject to counterindications mentioned below), as long as you believe that you can have an impact on your own well-being. We have worked with all sorts of backgrounds, stories and physical/emotional profiles.
Due to the nature of the style of breathwork we practice, it is not suitable for the following:
· Cardiovascular issues (including angina, previous heart attack
· Neurological issues (including epilepsy or history of seizures);
· Respiratory issues (including severe asthma and emphysema);
· Current severe mental health issues (e.g. psychotic episodes, schizophrenia or recent mental health hospitalisations) or spiritual emergencies;
· Some current or recent surgeries or physical injuries (particularly those affecting abdomen, chest or throat); and
· Pregnancy.
If in doubt, please consult with your doctor and speak to us before booking.
Because of the nature of shares and education (which might include mature themes), we do not work with people younger than 18 years old.
If you are particularly sensitive to other people’s energy, particularly in the context of processing trauma, 1-1 sessions might be a better option.
Expect a safe and welcoming environment, experienced facilitators and support crew and a company of like-hearted people.
Due to the nature of the style of breathwork we practice, even gentle sessions can bring up all sorts of emotions, memories, visions and physical sensations. You or your fellow breathers might feel the call to cry, laugh, vocalise, express anger or joy (sometimes both in the same session) or other emotions; move in all sorts of ways; feel cold, hot, tingly, cramped, expanded etc. Whatever is happening for you, all of you is welcome and we’re here to assist and guide you.
Conversely, we are never chasing a particular outcome (although it always helps to have an intention). Even in advanced sessions, your journey may be quiet, internal and outwardly “uneventful”. The work is still happening, and sometimes these “quiet” sessions can be most profound over time. No two sessions are ever the same, and it is important to not have specific expectations.
After the sessions, it is common to experience physical and emotional “wobbles” for up to a few days. It is best not to have anything too intense or demanding planned for the day after, and to schedule some self-care time. Sometimes, you will feel light, centered and grounded. It is important to remember that the process is never linear.
Depending on your history, capacity, intention and other factors, it may take a few sessions to relax your defences and get the energy moving – this is why we offer packages. In the long run though, we don’t want to see you in the sessions regularly (yes, I said it 😊) because if done right, you shouldn’t need to.
Bookings are essential.
Please arrive on time, ideally aiming to be here at least 10 minutes earlier – we will be closing the doors at 6.00pm sharp.
Please bring a water bottle and comfortable clothing suitable for laying down and moving around.
Yoga mats, blankets and bolsters will be provided, however feel free to bring your own mat, pillows, extra layers or anything else you might need for personal comfort. You might also want to bring your journal and a pen.
Hello Tribe!
I am Sergey and I live for deepening people’s (starting with myself) connections with themselves, each other and the Earth.
As a father, I am driven by the intention to break the trauma cycles, so our kids can inherit more of our embodied wisdom and less unresolved issues from our own past.
And as a citizen of the world, I strongly believe us “doing the work” will lead to a more peaceful and evolved society. With so many different approaches, breath is hard to ignore as it is literally under our noses 😊
Hi everyone!
I’m Emily (she/her), a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community and a passionate advocate for personal growth and healing. When I’m not facilitating breathwork sessions, you’ll likely find me by the sea with a snorkel on or surfing.
My journey into breathwork began in 2020 while living in the USA, and it changed my life. It taught me a profound truth, when we focus on healing our inner world, our outer world naturally begins to shift in beautiful ways.
I believe we all are capable to heal and grow, and that our past is simply a chapter in our story - not the entirety of who we are or what we can become.
My passion lies in helping others reconnect with their most authentic selves, free from societal pressures or expectations. In our sessions, I strive to create a safe, inclusive, and nonjudgmental space where you are met exactly where you are in your unique journey.
Let’s breathe, heal, and grow together. Ilook forward to meeting you!
For those who haven’t met me yet, my name is Brett. You can find my smiling face welcoming you into our space.
My passion and love for breathwork began for me as part of my own healing journey as I immersed myself into my own personal growth and self-development journey. I am deeply passionate about paying forward the life changing results I received, sharing the power of breathwork and empowering those on their journey.
I am incredibly honoured to be able to do so with a team of likeminded individuals that share the same passion, creating a safe space and environment within Deep Connexions & the community.
If we have had the opportunity to meet already, thank you for your trust in allowing myself and the team to guide and empower you. If we have not yet had the opportunity, I look forward to seeing you in circle very soon. Your new life awaits you.
Breathwork helped change my life, I’d love for it to change yours too.

This personal journey inspired her mission to help others do the same.
Through her breathwork sessions, Dee creates safe and supportive spaces for individuals to release stress, explore emotions, and reconnect with their true selves. She guides people in transforming their pain into purpose, unlocking their potential, and finding freedom in health and self-empowerment.
Whether in one-on-one coaching, group settings, or business environments, Dee’s work is about more than just breath; it’s about coming home to yourself, rising above challenges, and embracing a life of wholeness and possibility.

Hi, I’m Liam. My breathwork journey started after reaching another low point in my life.
After years of working in the high-stress mining industry, where resilience is often mistaken for silence, and once again facing the overwhelming grief of losing my dad. The guilt, the unspoken emotions, and the relentless pressure of work all collided, leaving me feeling lost. That’s when I decided to really lean into breathwork and learn. Practising breathwork not only helped me heal but transformed how I live and show up in the world.
Breathwork became a turning point, allowing me to release years of suppressed emotions, understand how to regulate better and reconnect with my inner strength. Today, I’m passionate about helping other men navigate their own challenges. I know how hard it can be to open up and let go, but I also know the power of taking that first step toward healing. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space for men to explore their emotions, process their unresolved trauma, and rediscover their purpose.
I look forward to walking this journey alongside you. Breathwork changed my life—it could change yours too.
Hellooo! I am Rochelle Powell and some of you may have seen me breathing alongside you in session, and if not, then I look forward to meeting you. This time, on the other side of the fence as a support facilitator!
I am a warm, messy, curious, inviting and resilient person (as well as many other things) and this year I am giving myself the permission to explore all parts of me.
2024 shattered me into a million pieces and whilst it was my hardest year to date, it was simultaneously the most expansive and rewarding one too. It cracked me wide open to all the dark and gory parts of myself I had buried as well as the soft and vulnerable parts I had protected.
This was a catalyst for me to go all in on rediscovering what it is that lights me up, to find my joy and remember who I am at my core.
Connecting with people is my favourite thing to do, and I truly believe that the deeper I can know and understand myself, the deeper I can connect with you. For me, breathwork has done exactly that, it has connected me to myself and my truth, time and time again.
So, I am very excited to have this opportunity to connect with you all and explore what it means to come home to ourselves, together.
See you soon.
Rochelle xo
